Our Ultimate Goal is to Enhance Our Clients Future Outcomes

Due to our first hand experience,  we understand the pressures placed upon Social care and Educational establishments.  We work with professionals to help achieve the best outcomes, for children and young people in need.

As part of our philosophy we strive to unlock our clients potential by encouraging them to dream and be the architects of their own destiny. We firmly believe that resilience and a positive mental attitude is crucial to unlock success in life, and therefore is underpinned as part of our intervention. A special emphasis is put on establishing coping mechanisms and self-belief/reassurance structures for all of our clients.

EFSS Ltd adopt a bespoke approach for every client we support carefully understanding their past and present experiences and how this maybe affecting their functioning and any challenges. We work in collaboration with key professionals, parents and carers to ensure that the nuances of of our clients personalities and lives are fully understood. Alongside thorough assessment and planning, there is consideration of risk and how to navigate this safely.

We attend formal statutory meetings such as CIN meetings, ICPC/RCPC’s, Educational reviews and professional home visits to support engagement.

EFSS Ltd require that every "Specialist Support Practitioner" regularly provides work reports in a pre-agreed format, so that all aspects of support being provided can be addressed and tailored to suit the need of each client's referral. The report will detail the pertinent information such as what was done/achieved and points for review to assist in wider decision making. We have been involved in may tricky scenarios such as supporting children in care to move placements, supporting children who are school refusers as well as supporting children who are subject to Child Protection plans. We aim to lesson the pressures on key agencies by providing quality client focused support.

EFSS Ltd offer every "Specialist Support Practitioner" ongoing support and training, both on a compulsory and voluntary basis. We aim for each client to be matched with a "Specialist Support Practitioner" with the relevant level of experience/education, to facilitate maximum progression in our clients' life. The "Specialist Support Practitioners" have access to guidance from the Directors at all times whereby case supervision is also undertaken to ensure that we are continually achieving the bespoke goals.

Each individual is different; however, we have a range of options available to help facilitate positive interventions.

We work with young people trying to cope with emotional distress, it is essential to help young people during these periods when they feel life is an unmanageable task. We will embark on this journey together, leading us both to a place of empowerment, change and acceptance.

Operating under unmanageable circumstances can often result in displays of negative or maladaptive coping behavior's, by the young person. Young people are highly adaptive and often find several ways to seek relief from emotional distress; self-harm, gambling, negative relationships, isolation, masking, substance use, avoidance due to anxiety or low mood, etc. The problems are compounded when their coping strategies cause the young person even greater harm.

EFSS Ltd will ensure every young person is heard, valued, seen and respected.
